Clove Bud Essential Oil

INCI name: Eugenia caryophyllus bud oil

Country of Origin: Sri Lanka

Use: A powerful cleansing, clearing oil. Highly antimicrobial in action. It is particularly useful for pain, especially nerve pain. It has a slightly numbing affect to the skin, so in a very low percentage blend it would be helpful for massaging on the outside of your cheek before and after dental procedures. It is also helpful to use in massage for general aches and pains, sciatica, fibromyalgia, hyperalgesia and toothache.

Scent: Warm, spicy, comforting, scent. Works well with citrus oils.

Cautions: External use only, dilute in a carrier oil before using on your skin (including in the bath). Can be sensitising to the skin, so do not use above 1% in a blend.
